I often officiate many weddings for local couples, and for destination wedding couples from all over the world. One recent private wedding elopement was at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles in DTLA for a couple who live overseas. I have helped many couples get married in LA and many at the Millennium. This wedding was done casually while sitting at a table in the elegant lobby of the hotel. We filled out the marriage license together while sitting in a chair and a loveseat, and then immediately I performed the wedding ceremony thereafter. Nobody in the hotel had an inkling about what was going on.
It’s always fun for me to visit downtown Los Angeles and perform all kinds of wedding ceremonies in different ways. And it’s fun to meet people in love from other parts of the world. While I was there, people were taking advantage of the slightly colder weather and enjoying the ice skating rink that was put together in Pershing Square. There’s always something going on in that active Los Angeles square. Downtown LA has become such fun in recent years, and I look forward to watching it get more exciting.
I have a legal background. My training and education as an attorney with a JD and an LLM prepared me for meticulous paperwork and attention to legal details. And so, I provide many legal services for my clients. I can issue California confidential marriage licenses with a moment’s notice. With a little more advanced preparation I can provide a prenuptial agreement for a couple which helps prevent any future disagreements and nasty divorces. I can also acquire apostilles for my clients who live in the Hague Convention countries and have them delivered to them. And of course, I can offer my legal services to provide such important documents as wills, power of attorney and healthcare directives. Give me a call to help you get legal in any way possible.
